Upon launching the application, you will be presented with a welcome message. This screen also pre-configures various aspects of the application, such as the initial data load. After a few seconds you will be redirected to the home screen.
The dashboard provides an overview of the number of inspections and defects submitted for the current day, week, and year.
The screen presents an overview of all assets. There is a search function that allows you to search for specific words within the vehicle, asset number, or reference fields of an inspection. This feature enables you to easily find inspections based on specific criteria or keywords of interest.
For each asset item, you will notice a blue arrow (>) icon that allows you to view and edit the details of that specific asset. By clicking on the blue arrow, you can access and make modifications to the information associated with the asset.
To add a new asset, click on the "+" icon.
To add asset images, follow these steps:
On the screen or form related to assets, look for the blue camera icon. Click on this icon to initiate the process of adding asset images.
After clicking the camera icon, you will be prompted to select or capture images of the asset. Follow the on-screen instructions to choose images from your device's gallery or capture new ones using the device's camera.
Once you have selected or captured the desired images, they will be added to the asset record.
To submit the form or complete the process, ensure that all required fields related to the asset have been filled out. This may include details such as asset name, description, specifications, or any other relevant information.
Once all the necessary fields have been filled out, locate the submit button on the screen or form. Click on the submit button to finalize the process and save the asset details.
By following these steps, you can add asset images by pressing the blue camera icon and submit the form or complete the process once all the required fields have been filled out.
At the top of the screen, you will find a viewfinder that displays your phone's camera. To capture a picture, simply press on the viewfinder. The image taken will appear below the viewfinder, allowing you to review it.
If there are any images that are not needed, you can delete them by following these steps:
Locate the image you wish to remove from the list of images displayed below the viewfinder.
Press on the red bin icon associated with that particular image. This action will initiate the deletion process.
Confirm the deletion by following any on-screen prompts or prompts that appear.
By following these steps, you can use the viewfinder to take pictures using your phone's camera, review the captured images below the viewfinder, and delete any unnecessary images using the red bin icon.
In this section, you can access and view the details of the asset item. If you need to make any changes to the asset item reference or status information, simply press the edit button. This will allow you to modify and update the relevant fields as needed.
Like the asset screen, you can also view inspections in this section. At the top right corner of the screen, you will find a "+" icon that allows you to add a new inspection. For each inspection listed, you can click on the blue arrow (>) icon to access and view the inspection details.
When adding a new inspection, please follow these guidelines:
The "Name" field will be automatically filled with the name of the signed-in user. If necessary, you can manually change the name.
The "Date" and "Time" fields will be automatically filled in with the current date and time. You have the option to modify these fields as needed.
In the "Template" dropdown, select the relevant template. Based on the template selection, the associated questions will be assigned accordingly when you click the "Next" button.
In the "Asset" dropdown, you will find a list of assets to choose from. By clicking on the "On Site/Off Site" icon, the dropdown items will toggle between "On Site" and "Off Site" assets, depending on your selection.
Once you have filled out all the required fields, including the name (if necessary), date, time, template selection, and asset, you can click the "Next" button to proceed.
By following these steps, you can effectively add a new inspection by filling out the necessary fields, selecting the appropriate template, and choosing the desired asset. Once all the required fields are filled, you can proceed by clicking the "Next" button.
When performing the inspection on the selected asset item in the "Add Inspection Screen," please follow these instructions:
Go through each check related to the asset item. For each check, press the relevant answer type button to indicate the status or condition.
If you encounter an issue or defect that requires further attention, press the "Req Att" button. This action will open the defect report screen, allowing you to provide a detailed description of the defect. A green tick next to the "Req Att" button indicates that the defect description has been completed.
If you are using a PC or tablet, you can mouse over the green tick to view the defect description. This feature may not be available on other devices.
If you need to reset the form, including defect descriptions and images, locate the form reset button at the bottom right. Clicking this button will clear all fields and reset the form to its initial state.
Once you have answered all the questions and performed the necessary checks, the "Done" button will become available. Click on the "Done" button to finalize the inspection process.
By following these instructions, you can efficiently perform the inspection on the selected asset item, handle defect reports if needed, reset the form if necessary, and complete the inspection by clicking the "Done" button.
To record the defect details and describe the defect, along with attaching one or more photos if necessary, please follow these steps:
Provide a comprehensive description of the defect in the designated field. Make sure to describe the issue accurately and clearly.
If needed, you can attach one or more photos to provide visual evidence of the defect. Look for the option to add photos and follow the prompts to select or capture images from your device's gallery or camera.
Double-check and ensure that the defect description and attached photos are correct and accurate before proceeding.
Once all the required fields, including the defect description and photo attachments, have been completed, the "Save" button will become available.
Click on the "Save" button to save the defect details. It is essential to review and verify the defect description before saving because it may not be possible to go back and edit it later.
By following these steps, you can accurately record the defect details, provide a clear description, and attach photos if necessary. Ensure that all required fields are completed before saving, as the defect description cannot be edited once saved.
Once inspections are submitted, they become viewable but not editable. If there are any defects associated with an asset item, you will notice a "Req Att" label highlighted in red, accompanied by a ">" icon within the corresponding row. Clicking on this specific row will redirect you to the "View Defect Screen" for further details and actions related to the defect.
